The Story Behind Neeleraa
Neeleraa is not just a company name — it's a legacy, a tribute, and a promise.
The name Neeleraa is a heartfelt dedication to my late mother, Neelam Sharma, who was my first inspiration, my biggest support, and the reason I dared to dream. The name beautifully combines Neelam, my mother, and Aarati, me — her daughter, continuing her journey. My mother was a small-scale entrepreneur with a big dream. She ran a humble fabric business from home while managing the countless responsibilities of a large joint family and raising me and my siblings. Despite life's challenges, she never let go of her entrepreneurial spirit. Even during her illness, when her health began to fade, her passion for building something of her own never did. Until her last days, she held onto the dream of expanding her small home business into a full-fledged shop — a dream that, unfortunately, life didn't give her the chance to fulfill. Watching her resilience, her unwavering dedication, and her ability to balance it all left a deep mark on me — as a daughter, as a woman, and as a professional.
After her passing, I knew I had to do more than carry her memory — I had to carry her dream. That's when I decided to rename my company from Aarti Mehta Designs to Neeleraa — blending our names and our spirits into one vision. Neeleraa is my promise to my mother — that her dream will live on, her story will be celebrated, and her belief in creating something meaningful will bloom through me. Every space we design, every dream we bring to life, carries her essence — of strength, passion, and the courage to dream beyond limitations

Founder & Principal Designer, Neeleraa
I started my design journey back in 2009, driven by a love for transforming spaces into personal sanctuaries. With over 16+ years of hands-on experience, I've designed homes, commercial spaces, and lifestyle interiors that blend practicality with soul. At Neeleraa, I offer more than just beautiful spaces — I provide clarity, structure, and creative direction through our Interior Design with furniture and Styling + Consultancy model, along with limited execution services for select projects.

We specialize in moodboards, layouts, 3D visuals, technical drawings, and styling support — and we also offer limited execution services for clients who want an integrated experience.
Please note : We focus on projects that include complete furniture design and styling — we do not take on projects limited to technical work or civil structure only.
